Dear Families,
Happy Monday! Here is what is happening this week:
- There is a school board tonight at 5:30. The Google Meet link can be found on the school website.
- Just in case you missed it, here is the link to the Arcata Playhouse performance from last Thursday!

- The 3rd/4th and 7/8th graders are learning Spanish from two Cal Poly students every Wednesday from 1:00 - 1:30. We are so excited!
- There is a track meet at Arcata High School on 4/11 at 4:30 for TK-4th grades.
- Our field trip to the symphony this Thursday. We will leave at 10:30 and will return around 1:00.
- This Friday is an early release day at 1:30. Spring Break is the week of April 15th. No school all week.
- Chess club is canceled for the remainder of the school year.
- We need a few more drivers for the upcoming field trip to the zoo on May 23rd from 9-2. If you would like to drive, please let me know so you can get the paperwork from the office and have a vehicle inspection, if needed.
- Please let us know by the end of this week, if you’d like to facilitate a mini class this year. If you are interested, let us know how many students you can work with, what ages you are comfortable working with, and the topic/class you’d like to teach. We would really like to reintroduce this amazing Fieldbrook tradition this June and need volunteers to make it happen. The idea is to have 2 sessions, 1 hour each, on June 6th and 7th (1:30 - 2:30). If you can only do one day, there might be other volunteers who can split the days with you.
Please let the office know by Friday 4/5.
