Active Learning During School Closure
Dear Fabulous 3rd/4th grade Parent, Guardian, and Student,
Zoom sessions will continue through Friday, June 5th, which will be our "share day! Students are invited to share anything they have created during the closure. Examples might include stories, artwork, building projects, etc.
Please be sure to return any school property by June 11th. This includes library books, textbooks, musical instruments, chromebooks, etc.
Report cards will be mailed home on Monday, June 8th.
A list of digital resources is available here. We strongly recommend that students continue to practice their academics over the summer so they will be ready for the next grade level in the fall. Khan academy will be an especially helpful resource to aid in their progress. I have assigned all of the math lessons so that students can work through them over the summer.
Practice packets are done for the current school year. There is a summer packet that will be included in the student's belongings bag, which will be available Mon-Wed, June 8th-10th, from 9-noon. (If you are not able to pick up during those times, please email email@example.com to arrange a different time.) Inside the bags please find:
- a paper list of digital resources for the summer
- my goody bag gift for students
- students personal items
- summer fun packet
- a variety of other classroom items....just for fun!
Thank you for a wonderful school year, and for all your hard work and support through the school closure!
