  1. State testing is this week. Snack donations would be amazing. Shout out to Ms. Amber and the Margells for already sending items. Snack ideas include fresh fruit and veggies, string cheese, yogurt tubes, fruit snacks, seaweed, juice, or anything fun.There are 13 students in our class. 
  2. There is a Booster Club meeting this Wednesday, May 6th at 3:30.
  3. There is a school board meeting next Monday, May 11th at 5:30.
  4. Mini Classes are a long-standing tradition at Fieldbrook School. They’re an opportunity for members of the school community to share a passion, skill, or hobby with students over the course of 1 or 2 afternoon sessions. This year’s classes are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, June 4 and 5, 1:00-2:30 pm. Volunteer to lead a variety of popular options or suggest your own class. Contact classroom teachers or call the office for more information.
  5. It’s yearbook time. If you have pictures of school events that you would like to share, please email them to the office.

  7. All our reading groups are starting a new chapter book. I moved a few kids around this week. The amount of chapters kids are supposed to read ranges from 4 - 8 a day. They have a significant amount of time in class to read. However, some kids find it advantageous to read some at home. 
    1. Goose Group is reading a book titled Wolf Girl Into the Wild by Anh Do. Kids are asked to read 4 chapters a day.
    2. Ferret Group is reading a book titled The Beast and Bethany by Jack Meggitt-Phillips.
    3. Crab Group is reading a book titled Malamander by Thomas Taylor.
