Happy Monday room 8 families,
I hope you had a good weekend! Here is what’s happening this week:
~ We will be starting State Testing next week! We will test Tuesday - Friday. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and eats a nutritious and filling breakfast. After each testing session, we like to reward the kids with snacks and extended recess time. If you are able to donate any extra snacks we would be very grateful! Snack ideas include fresh fruit and veggies, bagels and cream cheese, string cheese, granola bars, yogurt tubes, fruit snacks, or anything fun. There are 23 students in our class. Thank you!
~ Thank you to all who attended Bingo night on Friday and to those who helped make it happen. We had a fun night and hope to make this a regular thing!
~ Cookies for Catalina starts today and will be every Monday after school for the remainder of the school year. Cookies are $0.50 and will be sold out front at 1:30.
~ There is a middle school dance this Friday 7:00-9:00. Please see the flier that was sent home last week. Info for this was also attached to the weekly update from the office last week.
~ We are in need of everyday snacks as well! We do have some of the green Nature Valley bars, but have eaten through the rest. Please send in what you can for these hungry kids!
~ Thank you to those of you who are volunteering for mini classes. Please check in with the office to make sure you have all the necessary paperwork in. Thank you!
