Fieldbrook School seeks to fill an essential role. We take great pride in providing nutritional breakfasts and lunches in accordance with the National School Lunch and School Breakfast regulations. Join us in our newly remodeled kitchen!

Qualifications:
Food handler/Food manager Certification from the State of CA. High school diploma or comparable. Ability to plan, order, shop and oversee the breakfast and lunch program for a small, rural school to meet all state and federal requirements. Comply with state nutritional guidelines. Prepare USDA compliant monthly menus. Procure ingredients from vendors and shop locally. Process daily food production records. Knowledge of kitchen equipment, HACCP requirements and standard operating procedures for safe, sanitary food preparation and cleaning methods. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions from supervisor. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and coworkers. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
