Happy Tuesday morning room 8 families! My apologies for not sending this yesterday.

Here’s what I know:

~ This Thursday, April 2 is our school Literacy Festival from 5:00p.m. - 6:30p.m. Join the HCOE Literacy Team and Fieldbrook School for a free all-ages event featuring hands-on STEAM activities, Family Literacy Kits, dinner, and so much more! 

~ Since we are middle school and not all middle school students want to come back to school in the evening, I am offering an incentive for my students who do come. 

~ If your student comes, I am offering a certificate to take the place of a current event or 2 pages of their vocab packet. 

~ There are rules that come along with this: They need to be involved and participate. They are here to help and have fun; not- play on their phones (or someone else's), act crazy and make trouble, sit in a corner or off with friends and talk the entire time. 

~ I will be there to help and have fun as well. So make sure they check in with me to get the credit and I will hand out certificates on Friday to those who attended and participated.

~ Boosters’ book fair will be open this week on Wednesday-Friday from 8:00-8:30a.m and 3:00-4:00p.m. It will also be open 5:00-6:30p.m on Thursday for the Family Literacy Event. 

~ There is a school board meeting next Monday, April 6th at 5:30. Please check the school website for the Google Meet link. 

~ Next Friday, April 10th is a 1:30 p.m release time. Our Spring Break is the following week, April 13th - 17th.
