Volunteer Openings:
Mini Classes — June 4 & 5 — Volunteers Needed!
Mini Classes are a long-standing tradition at Fieldbrook School. They’re an opportunity for members of the school community to share a passion, skill, or hobby with students over the course of 1 or 2 afternoon sessions. This year’s classes are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, June 4 and 5, 1:00-2:30 pm. Volunteer to lead a variety of popular options or suggest your own class here. Contact classroom teachers or call the office for more information.
I’d like to invite parents to volunteer in the classroom — either to share about their jobs and careers, or something you are passionate about. Help lead a Fun Friday activity, like art or game, PE, or any other engaging experience for the students. Let me know if you would like to help out in the classroom.
Homework Spotlight:
- No homework this week
Note about 6th Grade Math:
Math class is not always a place of creativity, but this past week, 6th graders made cool board games to play with their 2nd grade buddies. This time of year, it is hard to stay focused as we get excited for graduation, summer, and moving on to high school, but we are still learning a few more concepts to carry in our Math tool box. Keep working hard kids!
